mum forcing me to eat

long story short, i’m back in my parents’ house for the summer holidays and it’s becoming more and more unbearable day by day because they won’t get off my back about my weight loss and force me to eat.

the annoying thing is i’m 19 and they wont leave me be, i have to wait till september till i can get some peace but obviously there’s still a lot of time left. i’m actively searching for a job too but that’s another story.

my mum is the worst, she allows my sister who is skinnier than me to get away with her disordered eating but because she’s used to me being the “healthy” one who’d always eat whatever **** was thrown at her, she can’t stand to see my habits have changed. HOW do i make her understand that i’ve grown up and she needs to stop treating me like a pig and stop with the double standards with my sister?

That’s part of motherly care dear, all you need to do is just to call her attention to your new habit and give her your reasons I believe she will definitely dance to your tune.
