I want to do a joint languages degree with no A level language

Hi, I want to do a joint honours degree in German and another language (not sure which one yet) at university. I have done GCSE German but my school do not offer German at A level. I need A level German for the degree. Does anyone know any alternative ways of getting an A level equivalent quantification in German? Preferably one where I can study remote or teach myself. Thanks.
Check with the universities but many will accept a verified grade on the CEFR framework in lieu of a school qualification. For German, the main accrediting board is the Goethe Institut, where you pay to take the exam but can study however you like in preparation for it. Also, there are universities which will allow you to study German from scratch or from a lower level, so you could explore more courses if you don't feel like you will be able to get the qualification in time.
