It's called 'classical', not 'classic'. For example, classical music can be Mozart, whereas classic music just means any great piece of music (that usually hasn't just been released) from any genre. Don't let the fact that there's a radio station called Classic FM make you think that 'classic' is an actual shorthand for 'classical'.

I was into Paganini for a bit but mainly to transpose his stuff to guitar to show off to the lads down the pub.

I otherwise don't much bother with classical at all.
