changing degrees from Eng Lit and creative wiritng to Drama and cw

Ive started my degree at royal holloway doing english literature and creative writing, and although all lectures/workshops/seminars have been off to a slightly rocky start i feel that im not enjoying or understanding english literature at all. the deadline for switching courses is 3 weeks so i dont get to really try sticking with it to see how i truly feel about it, and whether i change or not i dont want to be stuck with a choice i regret. My main 2 concerns are with how im going to do in the courses in terms of learning well and liking it, and how respected they are/what career oppurtunities they provide (im most interested in tv, both in terms of writing and acting) im trying to set up an appointment with the su advice group about it but im not sure how else i can make sure i make the right decision.
