The Student Room Group

Depressed

I've been feeling low and have tried my best to feel better. I am taking an access course which is intense but I don't feel supported one bit my teachers are mean, they don't care about me as a student and there is a lot of favouritism. I have 4 months left but with that being said 3 uni's have rejected me and it doesn't help the matter. I would like to chase my dreams but the college is not helping. I do feel done with everything, feel unmotivated, lonely and sad. I don't know how to block out the negativity when is thrown right at me. I have no motivation to complete 2 assignments due to my mental health.

You sound pretty low, you're not enjoying your course, and you're worried about the future. That's a lot to be carrying. However, I feel I must say that not completing your remaining assessments will not resolve your current situation, in fact it is likely to make it worse. So...my advice to you is to find the wherewithall to get those assessments done to the best of your ability so that you can walk away from this access course job done. Do not preoccupy about what will happen in September at this point. Focus on the tasks that need to be done right now is the way to go forward at this point.
