Exercise 3C
5. Find an equation of the tangent to the curve with equation y=arcsin 2X at the point where X=1/4.

Answer: squareroot(3) y - (pi squareroot(3))/6 = 4X - 1

please show working.

thanks.

I presume an earlier part of the exercise, or the examples, showed you how to differentiate inverse trig functions. You need to apply that knowledge here again to find dy/dx - the gradient of the tangent - and then use your knowledge of tangents to curves from C1/C2 to complete your solution.
