Light Dependant Reaction

Hi,

Does anyone know as to why the products of the light dependant reaction are not affected by temperature?

Thanks

Electrons are only excited out of the chlorophyll molcules due to absorption of light - without light the electrons are not passed down the carrier chain, and ATP will not be formed.

Also, photolysis requires the absorption of light to break the water molecule into hydrogen ions (which then join with the NADP), oxygen and electrons.

So, ultimately, the light dependent is only photocatalysed.
