Right now, it is to become a published author. I'm writing a book based on my first year of University. That's a specific goal, but really, doing as many things as possible that make me happy is the big one. I don't want to look back on missed opportunities.

Mine's also to be a published author. I've written the novel already, I'm just procrastinating a tad with the editing. It's coming along slowly but surely though.
Mine isn't about uni though  Mine is fictional.

Other than that, to finish my degree would be nice, but financially I don't know if it's ever actually going to happen.

I'm already married, own my own home, and have kids, so those things are taken care of.

I'd like to have some sort of a career after the children are all at school, but I have no specific goal as to what that could be. If I end up earning £20k I'll be sorted (providing my husband is earning a similar sort of wage).

Aside from that, I'd like to travel. Probably once the kids have flown the nest. I'll only be in my 40s after all. I'd like to see the world. So far, outside of Britain, I've only seen the Canaries, the Balearics, Spanish mainland, France, Corfu and Malta. There is so much world out there that I haven't seen.

Fairly simple life ambitions I guess. I don't need to become a celebrity, or get a doctorate, or find a cure for cancer - at the end of it all, if I have had a happy life, and my children have turned out to be happy well rounded people who still want to spend time with me when they are adults, then I've probably done alright

Mine are:

- Go to university/get a family/nice house (usual stuff)
- Travel the world
- Visit Canada (maybe live there)
- Run the London Marathon
- Volunteer at an animal sanctuary
- Be someone's role model
- Achieve something that people will remember me for after I'm gone..

I'm already pretty sure I won't achieve some of these though :frown:

To go to Cambridge University,
become a synthetic biologist,
build a human from the molecular level up,
build the mansion I designed during Year 8 Math,
start a family,
and travel to more than 100 countries!

LOL, isn't building a human quite a bit harder than some of the others? Although we haven't seen your mansion design.

I would like to get into Oxford and instead of building humans, learn a huge amount, make loads of really good friends, have a completely good time and be a model student! I mean as a fashion model.

to be 'successful', yet I don't know what that is going to be for me or how I'm going to achieve success
