Hi, Looking at the question on Biology sample paper one, re graph showing effect of temperature on rate of reaction,
can't see where the answer comes from
says 2.5/0.04
and dm-3 minute-1/dm-3 s-1

I would have just done 10/240
so where and why the 2.5 bit

Can anyone help please?

For biology paper 1 its easier than the set 1 questions, chem set 2 is harder.
Does anyone know how to work out the rate of hydrolysis question from paper 1set 2 bio. Im sure its simple but im terrible at maths😊😊

I'm worried as hell for biology. You have to learn everything for each paper there's no divide like chemistry. Too much information and I feel I haven't even started yet... I feel I'm in overload. Like I'm just gonna have a breakdown. I'd be so happy with a B. But at this point idk how it's even possible. 😭 Help

I'm also really stuck on that did u manage to figure it out. My teacher couldn't even do it that's how bad they are.

put your pencil on the graph at 5 mins, draw a diagonal line using a ruler. Then by doing this you can create a triangle finding the gradient. so change in y/change in x. Also the gradient will be negative because the graph is sloping down
