No, I am pretty sure that International students are those outsine UK and outsine EU:smile:

Miss Trololol, really? I am also 20. Didn't know that age matters in this case... So sad, then I have no idea where I will be living:biggrin:D

I wanted to ask about answering offers. Do I have to wait until I get my IELTS and then answer or I have to answer now that I will take IELTS as they asked me?

Really? That sucks D: I just don't know any more what is considered International. I'm so behind with the times.

Yeah, I wish age didn't matter but it said on the webby site http://www.gcu.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/accommodation/howtoapply. I just didn't want to take the chance that I would be rejected for the onsite Halls then for it to be too late to find somewhere else. I applied for private halls from Unite so you could try there if you worried. If I were you, I would apply for both just in case. http://www.unite-students.com/student-accommodation/glasgow/buchanan-view#

As for the IELTS, personally I would accept the offer now then take the IELTS  But it's up to you.

So you have to apply to Buchanan View (=Unite?), too? I thought you sign up and book it right away? If it is an application process as well I can apply for this and GCU halls at the same time...

I think I'll contact the Accommodation Department and ask about my international status and how my chances are ...

Well, when I applied through UNITE, I booked the room, paid the deposit then printed out the tenancy agreement to sign and send back. The only problem with UNITE is that you have to sign and return the tenancy agreement within 14 days or they will give your room to someone else.

But yeah, I would give the accommodation department a ring and see what they say

Yeah I didn't know what I wanted to do and cause you do 6 subjects I can decide what to specialise in later which is good
Yes I need to hurry up and book into Buchanan View before all the rooms go

It's good to have options. I looked at the Social Sciences degree but I'm not all that keen on economics and politics bores me to tears D: And after doing Higher Sociology, I never want to look at a copy of Haralambos ever again.

I wanted the Psychology with IE for the gaming aspect just because I'm a big nerd.
Im for studying physiotherapy at GCU in september and im from northern ireland, anyone else like this?

possibly going to study international fashion branding! Still haven't firmed it yet
really excited!
I'll be travelling in each day though unfortunately as I live fairly close
To all the optoms, I know quite a few already at Cali and I am sure you will have a great time, everyone I know who has done the course or is currently on it loves it!

I wish I could travel daily then I wouldn't need such a huge student loan D:
