OCR A2 English Lit

I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone else, but quite a few people at my school were predicted As, with a soild A base from AS, then ended up with Bs overall due to getting shocking marks this summer.

I got 259 last year, which is reasonable, and was predicted an A, and somehow in both my exams (which i thought went reasonably well) i ended up with a C :/ this is also the case for one of my best friends who is far better than me and got a D in the synoptic paper with only half marks, which is stupid

I also noticed that my coursework had gone down from the original 75/90 to 68/90 - whereas other peoples hadn't

just wondering if anyone had any similar experiences. I'm definitely getting both my papers remarked asap, as now i've missed my fricking firm place :/ i'm only a couple of marks off
