Judicial system help!

Hi, im new to tsr.

i am just about to apply for a medical related field, and filling in my ucas application.
i then stumbled upon the tick box that says:

"i have no previous cautions etc..."

well when i turned 15 a minor incident at school occured that involved the judicial system on a very MINOR level, and i was told that this would go on my "file". it was simply a warning

im now 18, taking a gap year.

i've heard about how your files/ previous minor cautions are not very accessible, if not, cleared when you turn 18. so does this mean i do not have to tick the box?

if so, that would totally be unfair as since i have matured since literally 14 and improved academically and morally.

is this correct?
for some jobs, eg teaching, your record is never cleared. Medicine is one of them.
