biology unit 5 "how science works" aqa

I just dont get this whole "how science works" part. Do they want examples of experiments or what? I know you are probably wondering how I got this far to unit 5 with out even understanding this. Help :s-smilie:

as far as i understand, they mainly want you to have some common knowledge about how to carry out an experiment. eg suggest a suitable apparatus for collecting water from a pond.

also, learn everything about sampling methods and how to use which one under different conditions.
