somebody help

I just can't come up with a first sentence and paragraph, when i manage to write something, i end up deleting it.

Anyone have great ideas on what to write when im applying to study international development?

not so difficult 4 an interesting subject like that i think :cool:

something like;
We are living in rapidly changing times. While we are on the brink of solving some of the world's problems, other new and sometimes unexpected ones emerge. (introduce relevent issues which u can talk about if interviewed) blah de blah... mention books or other things youve read New internationalist magazine perhaps?
It is a desire to gain a better understanding of these issues which has stimulated an interest in studying international development.
