A2 AQA Government & Politics Unit 3/4

im dreading this exam! does anyone have any past papers? for the thirty mark question do you think 2 and half pages written is enough?

Go on AQA website for jan paper and teacher has said to look at the old module questions and just ignore the UK part, teacher has also said 2 1/2 pages seems fine depending on writing as there's not ages to write the answer in.

thanks, i looked on aqa but they only had a couple of past papers for AS level..

I suppose the length of your essay depends on the grade you're aiming for. Of course, it's quality as opposed to quantity, but an essay toward the top of the mark scheme would, I'd have thought, have to be reasonably comprehensive.

Ah no i'm doing both of these exams aswell, got 159 marks from AS, so hoping for an A. Hate ideologies but USA is straitforward enough...

If anyone could help me, what would you include in a 30marker for the supreme court protecting civil liberties?

We started the USA module last september! We have done: Constitutional Framework of USA Government, Legislative Branch, Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch. I am really sick of this module now.

I am only focusing on the Constitutional Framework and Legislative Branch and briefly the Executive if I have time. I have from today to the exam to cram everything in!!

What UMS are you on for AS to be able to pull off an E and still get a B?

maybe ive misread it but isnt it just as+a2 out of 400?

at as i got 80/100 and 73/100

in the last unit (ideologies i got) 89/100

and the grade boundary is 280/400 for b right? so 80+89+73=242 and another 38 to get to 280.

Im doing paper 3 on monday then paper 4 on wed..not too nervous about it, but do need to get at least a B in both papers, not sure if i'll follow my trend last year of getting 97/100 in the UK paper.
