Official Aston Applicants' Thread 2011

So I saw there was no thread for Aston. So who else is applying for 2011?

Post applications, offers, acknowledgments for 2011.

I'm applying to International Relations and Public Policy & Management .

Still haven't received any acknowledgment or offer from Aston (sent my application on 7 Sept.).

I'm applying to Aston for mechanical engineering H300.

BBB (300 UCAS points) but when I phoned them they said they may be raising it to ABB and 320 Ucas points. I hope they don't even though if I do well I will achieve the higher boundary, but Aston is where I want to go!!

Still haven't received any acknowledgment or offer from Aston (sent my application on 7 Sept.).

Don't worry about this as Aston can be quite slow. If you haven't heard from them or been rejected then it means they're still considering you.

Props on sending off your UCAS so early! I sent mine off mid-October and had a reply from Aston by the beginning of November. Don't stress too much though :smile:

I applied 14th october for Chemical Engineering got acknowledged 21st, but no offer yet, really hope i get in as Aston is one of my fave choices. :smile:
