Hi, I did my UCAT a few days ago and achieved a 2660 b1 which I am disappointed about. My predicted grades are A*AA in bio, chem, and maths respectively. My GCSES are 99999888887. What Med schools should I look at?

Hi!
I think a good option would be Cardiff. Avoid schools like Bristol which give our interviews 100% on the UCAT. Look for ones with a higher emphasis on grades, you can find this in the entry requirements forum. It's all about the weighting. However your UCAT score is still amazing so congratulations, and I wish you luck in your career.

Thank you! I heard Cardiff prioritises Welsh candidates and I live in England. Do you think it would be risky to apply there?

Don't think so :smile:

my friend's big brother in currently going there and we are from the South West of England. At my school, last year's destinations, quite a few people went to Cardiff studying a range of things... I think they also put priority on people who put Cardiff as their first choice. Not 100% sure but I think this is the case. You'll do great, good luck! :smile:

if this still concerns you, maybe take a look at ARU and Aston
