ERASMUS exchange help- my home uni sucks :(

I am interested in going on an Erasmus exchange, my strongest language is French (I think I could also manage on German, Italian and Norwegian) but my home university only does a programme for the czech republic, and it's not on my subject :frown:

However, I was talking to a friend who went on an Erasmus programme from his home university in Poland to a university in France, and he was saying that the international office in my university should make connections if I ask them to? Is this true?

If your home university offers Erasmus exchanges, does this mean they should be helping me get an exchange if I found a recipient university?

Please help! I want to get out my country for a year, lol.

Thanks in advance.
hello! i went on ERASMUS to denmark. it was without doubt the best year of my life, and 2 years on it's great to have friends all over the world

i remember my uni saying that, if you did the leg work and contacted the uni at which you were interested studying, then they would try to make it happen.

good luck!
