Thanks

Ok, would you suggest anywhere in Europe in particular?

Also, for America do you know if I apply to colleges as an individual or is there something similar to UCAS in the US?

Have a look at this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2011/mar/06/university-europe-no-debt

It's the case that universities in, particularly, Holland and Germany are beginning to offer degrees taught wholly in English.

With regard to US institutions, my strong suggestion is that you draw up a list of the ones you think you might fancy and then start visiting their homepages and putting in the hard yards: researching and Emailing. It's what your competitors in Shanghai and Singapore are doing while we chat.

1. Ask yourself a set of questions: rural campus, suburban school, or big city life? Hot or cold? Ski or surf?

2. Go to the Forbes list of the top 500 US schools and identify the ones meeting your criteria. Fine it down to fewer than 20.

Hey man thanks for your input !

I accidently missed your post hence the late rely...

I am going to check some out now

Some other unis to look at: Uni melbourne,Australia national uni, McGill,Uni Toronto,Bocconi.
Except for Bocconi they aren't that well known for economics but they have very strong brand names and any of their programs will suit if you're looking for a masters degree afterwards for example.

Unfortunately the german unis that are offering english courses are private for profit universities. Not really the stellar german education that comes with a strong german brand name.

Ok thanks,

Do you think it's best to email the undergrad admissions offices for information about scholarships?

Financial aid information is fairly easy to find but not on scholarships specifically
