PLEASE HELP - Can national governments ever control globalization?

It would help if we knew your thesis / arguments.

But as a basic answer: I don't think they'd want to. I think the monetary benefits of globalization are incentive enough for governments to support globalization.

not the question he is asking though, can is not the same as should or would

the question is not an easy one to answer, essentially some national governments can and indeed do influence globalization; it is hardly coincidental which nations do and do not reep the "benefits" of globalization. conversely other nations (those who lose out due to it or are even exploited because of it) have little or no influence over globalization, personally I would use such an essay to argue seperatley about these two types of nation and their relation to the control/influence of globalization.
