Labour, Libs and the Tories are all as bad as eachother to be perfectly honest. They all have bad points.
But people seem to hate the tories because they have always been seen as 'the rich and upper class party', which in some ways I think is true. Most of Britain's society are working class or below. Since the last election they haven't really done anything but put the nation in anger and make them hate politics even more.

Their actions are just confirming the world really could possibly end in 2012.
Forgot the students people are fools and fools vote for fools tory s hate working class people they also hate the middle class who are really working class
Oh forgot to mention if tuition fees are reduced shouldn't young people on low wages who work and pay taxes have an increase in wages so they can still contribute to the well being of students

1. They are out of touch with ordinary people.
2. They are power hungry megalomaniacs.
3. They are aristocracy but without the aristo (i.e., meaning 'good'.
4. They are elistist (i.e., Bulingdon, Etonians).
5. They are the party of war and peace.
6 They salute the Royal Family.
7. They are steeped in British institutionalism (i.e. Freemasonry: Disraeli, Balfour, Peel, et al).
8. Importantly: they are like all other political parties.

In reference to points 1,3 and 4, if you look at the Conservative Party that ruled between 1979 and 1997, both leaders came from very average, if not poor backgrounds, with Thatcher coming from a greengrocer's family and Major coming from a poor family in Brixton and not even attending university. I do like the idea from the conservatives that if you work hard you can achieve big things, something that socialist parties don't seem to like advocating and would rather fuel this hate against the rich. I actually believe the Conservatives are better for the working class as they believe in tax breaks, and Labour in particular have this antipathy against entrepreneurs and wealth creation.

Point 6, all parties seem to have saluted the royal family and if they don't seem to like the royal family no one has had the balls to stand up to the family.

Point 5, i think you'll find that Labour sent British Troops into an illegal war, The Conservatives actually had a pretty good record abroad between 79 and 97, and the first gulf war was proof of how the UK was able to stop dictatorship.

Point 8, I put partly to blame Tony Blair and his 'New Labour' stance that moved Labour to the centre ground, and although Cameron is centrist as well, before the arrival of Blair there was a very clear distinction between Left and Right.

When you talk about elitism and what have you, there may be an element of truth, but let me assure you the left is full of champagne socialists telling the poor that other rich people are to blame for your sufferings.
3.5+ year thread revival, well.
They are a party of greed and lies they talk about helping the poor while cutting their benefits and then have the audacity to tell them it's for their own good (and before someone chimes in talking about them raising wages an extra quid an hour doesn't counter act the £2000 a month they are taking away from poor people) they a nasty bunch of snobs and the sooner the public realises this the sooner we can get a party that cares for its people rather than itself and its rich friends

Find me a promise of their's which they kept to which did not involve cuts

Because they've done their political research
Loads of reasons. To much to list.
The problem with the conservative party is they have absolutely nothing sensible to say about crime and the ridiculous criminal justice system we have. All i have heard from this lot is their obsession with welfare and making cuts, none of them are interested in crime.
The party of cuts.
Google exactly what the torys have done for our country then google labour you may realise the differences . The deviant tory idiots have lied on all fronts . They were elected by 23%of the people allowed to vote .Things like knighting the freemasons j saville c smith and attempting to coverup goverment sex crimes doesn't help their cause.Their nasty personal attacks on everyone else shows their guilt and shame .They sold all our assets to europe and now they want to leave very clever.2million migrants 2million new jobs bs .Massaging figures to make themselves sound good is ciminal. There are so many other crimes torys have committed . Google it imformation is vital
For those who back the Conservative party. Perhaps you care to explain what it is that they conserve exactly? All I see are cuts to disability benefits, cuts to jobs and of course cuts on taxes for their wealthy chaps.

What do they conserve? Their own bank accounts???

The name was created in the early 1800's when the party was protectionist, traditionalist and paternalistic with significant links to the church.

The modern day party has strings of each of the above within it but it's probably more similar to the Victorian Liberal Party of Gladstone than it is the original party.
People don't like conservatives because they lack the very thing that makes us human; feelings. Choosing instead to favour thought and reason to make there decisions. This oftern works very well for there cold sociopathic life but not so well when making decisions for others. And the fact that liberals can sometimes feel too much making them wreckless, sometimes confused and ocasionaly wrong empowers them to do what is coldheartedly right and not what is heartfelt right. For the people who hate them there is some comfort in knowing no matter how ritch comfortable or powerful they seem, they are not very happy people in the whole, this is why they fight so hard for power in the first place, to try to balance out the emptiness that comes from a lack of feelings.

I hate them for not keeping to the immigration control of tens of thousands like they promised
The political lines are really a line from feelings on the left and thoughts on the right. If your too liberal left then your stupid with all feelings and no thought. If your too much on the right your a sociopath with no feelings. So its best to be balanced and not be too extreme either way.
My issue with the Conservative party is that they are not conservative enough.

How a party that was responsible for voting in same-sex marriage, supports taking in migrants, supports the NHS, supports the minimum wage, etc... can call themselves conservative is beyond me. They are centrists at best.
