so it was 840/3003? people are scaring me with these figures. anyone can confirm this?
For the combinations did people get

5C3 * 9C3 = 840
Then 840 / 14C6 = 0.280?

omg i was like ...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg i though i put 14 and got it wrong omg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh gosh i can breath again !!!!!

so it was 14 yeah?

Im pretty sure 14 was right. My calculations for the second bit (the student who chose them at random) was (5C3 * 9C3)/14C6 = 840/3003 which then cancels. did anyone else get this? x

slighltly negative skew

thatwas the frequency distribution! did u have like the smallest area of bar at the end of your histogram.. between 300 and 500?

Yeah I did that!

And for the mean and SD question I got 1890.625 = mean, 890 something = sd.

exactly!

yep as far as i can remember !!!!
And for the browser thing

0.92 * 0.92 * 0.08 = 0.0677 for third person selected

(0.92 * 0.92 * 0.08) + (0.92 * 0.08) = 0.141 for second or third person selected

1 - (0.92^20) = 0.811 that there was at least one in the sample?
Original post by sreddy17
how did peoples histogram look?

I don't remember a histogram! wasnt there a cumulative frequency graph and a random variable one line chart?

Hey guys, how did everyone find this paper???
I thought it was impossible! Like, I think i have only gotten 61.1%. Literally! Any ideas on grade boundaries!?!??!

Also, I didnt label my axis for the histogram.
And yeah, it was 9+ 5 = 14 100% sure

How did everyone do the 8% thingy?
and what about hypothesis testing? Rejected H0? ... i did.
Also, the last question OMAG. Yasmin is a bish with her stupid biased coins.

It asked us to draw a histogram for the data about the 80 cars. Highest frequency density was 0.052 and lowest was 0.0035... My vertical axis was from 0 to 0.06

hey !!!!!
I totally agreee with everything u said !!!
Rejected h0
got that bionomial thing

an the 8%
was a total guess
for the i) i did 0.92*0.92*0.08
then the last paprt i think i did 1-(0.92^20)

the last blood coin question was hell wat did u do ????
