Economics and politics with a C in maths?

I have a big interest in economics yet my maths isn't too fantastic! what are your thoughts?
You need to check the individual course admission requirements for each of the courses you are considering. They will all be different.

For Politics & Economics at Newcastle the Admissions requirement =
"AAA-ABB. A or AS level Mathematics is desirable but not essential. GCSE Mathematics (minimum grade A) is required if not offered at a higher level."

To be honest, you will struggle with an Economics degree without being good at maths. Economics is a lot of maths, it's nothing like studying it at A-level. Have you considered Economic History?
