Social Work BA University of Birmingham

Good evening folks, just signed up after visiting the Forums as an observer for several months. Finally bucked up the courage to participate. :biggrin:

I'm currently completing the access course in Social Science and have recently attended the interview for Social Work BA at University of Birmingham having successfully passed the exam stage.

Just this week, I have received an email stating that my application is being held in the 'if numbers allow' category and that I should expect to hear a final decision before the end of April. They also 'reassured' that the UCAS deadline for making a decision to accept offers isn't until June.

I'm a little unsure how to interpret this message. Does this mean that I potentially have a place pending completion of the remainder of interviews to see if there are better candidates and that I should hold off accepting any other offers I have received?

Such a stressful time! lol
