You could try swimming, it's been really good for me.

I reckon that'll make my heart rate go up too fast. The yoga class did today because there was a lot standing up :/ I got so dizzy my vision started to go blurry but most of the exercises they were doin like stretching the neck could have been done sitting down so I know for next time!. Atleast I can't drown standing up :P But I've heard for a lot of people swimming is great because it supports the joints and that's why physios offer hydrotherapy to the unconditioned of us. Thank you for your input! and good luck

I understand about the heart rate thing. I don't know if you said you have pots or any other autonomic problems? I've improved mine a lot but being too energetic can be a problem. When I first started I'd only do half a length a few times and that was enough, but having built up some stamina I could easily swim a kilometer a few months later. Having more stamina has really improved my fatigue and generally given me more energy.

Obviously you'll have to listen to your own body and find what works for you. Best of luck too!
I have alot of muscular pain in my neck and back, and have done for around 3.5 years. It also came with a nervous head tic.

I feel as though I should qualify for extra time, but am having a hard-time getting myself to do it, as the case sounds weak(like others have said, it's invisible), despite my geniuene beliefs that it is affecting my studies. My reasoning goes along the lines of chronic fatigue, pain, tender points, muscular knots...not to mention just dealing with the pain and fatigue day after day is pretty stressful itself... anyone got any tips/personal experieneces? thanks alot man !

I have both as well as other things. The one thing I can advise is to rest when you can, uni is exhausting and won't help your fibro, even if it's a nap it'll go a long way. Also let the university know so they can assist you when needed. listen to your body is a good motto.
