Can I use a history personal statement if one of my subjects is BA war studies

Hi guys. I'm having a bit of a panic. As I doubt ill be able to get AAB for BA History at Brum Uni, I've changed it to war studies. I so,so,so want to go to Birmingham and don't want to waste the offer on an AAB offer which is unlikely to happen ... but my PS is based upon me wanting to study history and merely has a quotation of Winston Churchill at the start and about how current and past subjects have linked with history ie art, photography in relation to the death of Marat and war photographers and media with the chartist movement.

My other 4 choices are all BA History
You think it'll pass? Haha

If you are desperate to go to Birmingham and have not yet submitted your UCAS form why don't you alter your PS to fit more with the War Studies but still with a History slant? I assume you will apply to Birmingham for both anyway and I'm sure you could make it sound more plausible than just a bit about Winston Churchill!
