Biomedical/Biochemistry

This is going to sound really silly, but what is the difference in Biochemistry and Biomedical science? What careers can they lead to? Are there any differences in entry requirements?

Biochemistry is more related to the study of biology at a molecular level. Biomedical Science will most likely cover very similar foundations to Biochemistry in the first year, but Biomedical Science tends to be more... medical. You will study agents of infectious disease (virology/immunology), epidemiology, microbiology, etc. They are both excellent degrees to lead on to further studies.
