HCPC registeration

Hi, I have completed bachelors in biochemistry . Can I get myself registered with HCPC as a biomedical scientist with that degree?

See here for a list of HCPC-approved degrees which would allow you to register as a Biomedical Scientist.

I do not see any Biochemistry degrees amongst them.

No, not on its own. To register with the HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist, you need to have a degree in Biomedical Science/Healthcare Science, the degree has to be accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and you have to complete a Registration Portfolio in an IBMS accredited lab.

You can ask the IBMS to look at your transcript and they may suggest some top-up modules before they accredit your degree but you will still need to complete the portfolio
