How the **** have the Syrian Rebels got their hands on javelin missiles?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7KcqzL3mUM

Correct me if I am wrong, but that looks suspiciously like a javelin missile that is being used. How the **** have they got hold of them? Are the west supplying the rebels with arms now? If so, that means we (or rather the government) are participating in war crimes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U10D0-wiJ8A

Edit: Just realised it is not a Javelin missile, but my main point still stands. We still supply non lethal aid.

No offence but where have you been? The west have given their full backing to the FSA from the beginning.

Russian or Chinese.. Javelin does top attack.

As to where they've come from. Take your pick. Supplied by a third party. Bought on the blackmarket. Stolen from the Syrians

I've always thought it was non-lethal aid, not weapons!

Non lethal is bad enough! The FSA are our enemy. The Syrian government are our enemy.

No it doesn't. If it's not a Javelin, what has it got to do with us? Even if it were a Javelin (which it isn't), we don't make it or sell it.

It's almost certainly a Chinese missile - probably a Hongjian-8.

So can you please start on the Chinese and their war crimes now, instead?

I seriously don't understand this crazy mentality. "The west is evil for supplying something which they didn't supply".

Yes, the Chinese are guilty if they are state supplying the rebels or the Syrian government.

If people have the cash, you can pretty much buy anything. However its interesting that a backer of Assad is unite happy to either directly, or indirectly sell those systems to the free Syrian army.

Not really. Weapons are a commodity. Just like bread, steel or coal.

Theres some rather horrifying EFP stuff on you tube going in out there. They can be banged out in a garage.

A damning indictment on the examination system, then.
