Diplomacy and International Relations

Anyone in their first year studying Diplomacy and International Relations at London Met? I am a Mature Student who is hoping and applying through UCAS to join you at level 5 (2nd Year). I am currently studying Human Resources Management BA Hons but feel this is not for me. It has been indicated if I pass my current modules well I will be considered. As you can only change uni's and course after the first year I am afraid to fall so behind I will struggle. Is anyone in the first year willing to help me by letting me know what you are studying so I can keep up alongside with you till the second years. Any books you can recommend etc. Many thanks.
