I got 172.9 and I didn't round up :frown: how many marks do you think I would get?

They didn't specify how accurate it should be so it should be awrt 173 (3.s.f) so you'll get full marks
I think I'm getting 72/75

Did anyone else need to draw the venn diagram for the last question?

Is there an unofficial markscheme anywhere?

Depends; could be full marks because often the mark scheme accepts anything that will round to the answer. Alternatively, the mark scheme may want it to some decimal places, in which case 172.9 would be better than 173; either way, you're probably fine!!

Oh phew! Thanks

Just seen S1R in the Emporium, so had a quick go at it in between fielding M2 questions from my revision class. No checking at all has been done, so tell me about any mistakes.
I think I got it mostly right apart from:

1a) where I used (n+1)/4 to find the quartiles and I got the same answers though.
3f) where I left it as m=1383.
8c) where I put P(A n B) = P(A|B)P(B) which is P(A n B) = 0.6 x (0.22 + P(A n B)) and then worked out the equation to get the right answer.

How many marks if any would I lose?
