AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 1 - June 10th 2014 *OFFICIAL THREAD*

I have the C1 modular but is it okay for us to post it on or not? I dont want to get into trouble for anything because its not even on the website. I'll find out or if anyone else finds out then do post.

do you mean just for chemistry? I found both the c2 and c3 easy, but b2 and b3 hard although it seems that everyone failed bio so hopefully the boundaries will be low for a star. What do you think the a star boundary will be? I'm thinking same as last year at 39/60 for b3??? and maybe 43/60 for b2????

and p2 and p3 were okayish hopefully scraped a stars in both

Chem 2+3 went well with chem3 being the best
Bio2+3 absolutley awful, terribe just horrible. Aha inone of the exams that was the one where people.missed out the last questions because of.the random.blank.page so I think the grade boundaries will be low.anyway haha.
Physics 3 went better than 2- I spelt hydraulics wrong in the exam I forgot the 'u' haha ffs I died crying of laughter when I realised that.
Overall the unit 2s.were a lot worse than the.3s and yeah I agree with your predictions of grade.boundaries. Haha

I know, every time I think about bio i feel a bit sick the paper today made me feel better though. Are you predicted a stars for sciences? You sound pretty smart!

Nope not really! I need to polish up my knowledge and you? and fingers crossed but you have to expect the worst with AQA 9/10 times

Same here! Haven't done anything for C1 in well over a year but surprisingly remember quite a bit aha.Might do some past papers, although I feel that they haven't helped much this year what are you hoping to get in chem?

same here! I'm not too fondof Chem unit 1, there's a lot to learn! and you should definitely check out the other past papers on the AQA website for gsce but of different specs (there is spec a and b for example) they haven't been too creative with the B1 paper so lets hope the same for chem! I'm hoping for a/a* i/a but i havent been able to call out any of my gcse grades confidently this year Only time shall tell

Nahhh am I hell as like. I used to be at the start of year10 however I.got servely bullied (still am now but ive got a permanent study leave whilst nonone.else in my year has) so.my grades drops to Us etc. I got these in.the mocks:
Xmas- bio.3: U chem3: A phys3: D
Easter- bio2: C chem2: B phys2: B
Ever since the grades have dropped dramatically so all the teachers have doubted me.now so they'll are like oh you'll pass hopefully etc.

Aww thank you so much! It means a lot. I was so close on numerous occasions to giving up.literally but one teacher stopped me always. I.maneged to get mt grades up.and now they've hit rock.bottom again. I know it sounds like I'm attention seeking or.something but I just don't want people to be in the same situation as I was a lot of times. And yeah there's no.sixth form attached to my school so yeah I'm going to a different sixth formhaha
