I devoted a paragraph to academic (including extra-curricular stuff,) although In retrospect, I think I should have cut it down and added more stuff about hobbies or a medical issue of some kind (although briefly talking about my AS medical ethics module might very slightly touch on this)

i finally sorted out. i decided she was a nutter (she circled loads of "mistakes" on my personal statements yesterday and when i got home to look over them, there were NO mistakes at all. she's determined to find something wrong with it, pff) so i changed it around a bit and now i'm happy.

fluffy, you speak a LOT of sense. can you believe she told me to take out all of my work experience/interests out to replace it with academic stuff? idiot.

Don't worry too much about teachers not liking your personal statement. It's admissions tutors your aiming it at :smile:. Mine's a bit like marmite-people either love it or hate it, but i'm going to take the risk so at least I stand out :smile:
