C3 Trig and Graphs
Hey guys, i'm having some trouble on some questions on the OCR C3 Jan 2012 paper. I've read through the mark scheme and i'm still not completely sure how to tackle these questions.
Questions 8iii and all of 9. With 9i I know all my transformation rules but i'm not sure how to apply it to this question when the values are unknown. Thank you very much for any help.

Cos4A = 2cos^2(2A) - 1
So you know all the parts on the LHS in terms of Cos4A
