Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

GCSE Art and design or GCSE graphics?? HELP ASAP!!

Hi, I have to pick my GCSE options by Monday ( 4 days ) and I'm having a lot of trouble deciding on whether to choose graphics/art and design GCSE. I want to take the career route of either an architect or an interior designer. Any tips/ideas on what the courses will be like? :confused:

Hiya,
I don't do the subjects myself but I have friends (year 11) that either do one or both. From talking to them it seems like they're both equally as coursework intensive but in graphics there is more of a focus on computer design/work.

I would look at the requirements for architecture and interior design, I have a feeling you need art to be an architect however I'm not 100%. I know 2 people in my year that would like to be architects and they've done both for GCSE and are going on to do art at a level. :smile:
