Advantages and disadvantages of compulsory voting!

Surely that would just be a part B/10 marker as it is only focusing on one part. I don't think it would be under elections, only under democracy!

I think the confusion comes under the book our college uses!
everybody uses the edexcel endorsed book
while we use the andrew heywood one which isnt written for just Edexcel! Its written for other exam boards too!

Naa you only need 70% to get an A in politics so the minimum is 56 out of 80 for an A

I did a unit 2 mock recently and got 56/80 and it was a B. My friend got 70/80 and he got an A- .
so not sure, we've been told that
50% D
60% C
70% B
80% A

That's true but for UMS not for raw marks
I haven't started revising yet - feeling guilty :s

Okay guys I just made this out of procrastination. It shows the topics the 40 markers were on in previous years.

The dreaded judiciary + parliament combo has only come up twice and once was last year.

Looks like we are due a constitution 40 marker!

Do any of you have predictions for unit 2?
Like for the source and 40marker

Learning two topics for unit 1 and 3 for unit 2

I predict the constitution for one of the 40 markers - it's best to look at my post right above yours and make your own guess though

I got 56 and it was an A? hhaha
I'm confused now
Has anybody got a list and definitions of all the key words we need to know for the 5 markers?

What makes you so sure lol?
It could be on voting behavior or compulsory voting

I highly doubt it would be on voting behaviour; looking through past papers the 25 markers for elections have been:

1. Assess the criticisms of the various electoral systems used in the UK
2. Make out a case in favour of PR
3.How far does the Westminster electoral system ensure strong and stable government
4. Should the Westminster electoral system be reformed
5.Make out a case in favour of FPTP
6.To what extent do the different electoral systems used in the UK produce different outcomes (not nice)
7. Assess the advantages of PR
6. Should FPTP be retained

All of the questions are very electoral system based and I can't see them asking a question on voting behaviour (touch wood)
