Hello, today I was looking through the A level timetable on the Cambridge International website and I'm really confused.
I am a private candidate taking my exams in October and November and am not used to this system.
From what I understand A level candidates need to take 4 papers and each papers have their codes - 1 is 12, 2 is 22, 3 is 32 and 4 is 42 right?
(Thats what i understood after looking at past papers)
I want to take French, English, and Classical studies
So why are there only papers 3 and 4 (32 and 42) for English and classical studies and paper 2,3,4 for French but no oral exam is mentioned?
On the timetable, it's written :
Classical Studies 9274/32 1h 30m Friday 03 November 2023
Classical Studies 9274/42 1h 30m Saturday 11 November 2023
French 9716/22 1h 45m Friday 06 October 2023
French 9716/32 1h 30m Wednesday 04 October 2023
French 9716/42 2h 30m Monday 23 October 2023
English Language 9093/32 2h 15m Wednesday 01 November 2023
English Language 9093/42 2h 15m Friday 03 November 2023
