Cooper Coil

I had the Copper coil in August and everything was okay until my sic week check up. After the check up my periods where very frequent (every 2 weeks) and really heavy. I went to the doctors last month but nothing came from it. I now haven't had a period in over a month does anyone know what this could be.

I've had a copper coil for almost two years and I've found that my cycle has been irregular since I had it fitted; some months my period has arrived over a week late or early. Apparently its something to do with the uterus not being used to having a foreign body inside it. If you were on hormonal contraception prior to getting the coil it might also be due to your body getting used to not having the extra hormones. This coil can also make periods heavier in some women.
