what do u mean?
It is a bad university with a very bad reputation in a very, very bad part of London.
UEL spends more on each student than any other new university. The Social Sciences, Media and Cultural Studies school received an RAE rating of 5, an extreemly high rating and up their with the better older uni's. Its research has been described as "world class". Most of the academic staff are highly respected internationally. And Rolf Harris is a patron.
What more could you ask for?

It is a bad university with a very bad reputation in a very, very bad part of London.
Bad in what way, that it's not a haven such as Chelsea or Belgravia? Don't think many of the universities are in the nicest parts of London - KCL is in the best place for me.
