So my first year of uni ends in a week (I'm 19) , it's been a pretty good year made friends getting a house with them and all that stuff. One things still bugging me though, how much of a big deal being a virgin is to some people. They always assume there's some reason for it, like your socially awkward (ok, in some cases I can be around girls :P) or you're a creep. I told a girl in my accommodation that I was a virgin and her response was "awwww, that's so cute".
I guess I've never really tried to lose my virginity (never really spoke to many girls, or had friends that are girls) and I don't care until some comments are made by unexpected people like even my dad was like "bet you've got with a few girls at uni" whilst we were having a pint at the pub over the break and I just sorta laughed :/ .
Alot of people lose it at school I guess because everyones going through puberty and experiment, I didn't really catch on to it all at that age because I didn't get aroused or anything until I was like 15-16 (bit personal, sorry) so I missed out on that gap and have just fell out of that circle now everyones got experience, plus I look pretty young for my age which girls don't find attractive, either way I just think I should have lost if by now because it's the social norm and that's becoming even more obvious now through tv shows and stuff.
Your thoughts guys?
