Just thought to mention the most likely topics that will come up in the maths exam in case you didn't already know: - hard calculator questions - area and circumference of a circle - solving equations - trial and improvement - nth term - drawing quadratic graphs - similar shapes - bounds - averages from a table - standard form - reverse percentages - simultaneous linear equations - trigonometry - circle theorems - direct and inverse proportion - quadratic equations using the formula - Sine and cosine rules - vectors - histograms - stratified sampling

there's no maths thread, and most people don't know where to get this.

You should of learnt it. Want me to describe?

The Miller Urey experiment was an experiment to test how life was formed in the conditions 4.5 billion years ago.

A mixture of methane, ammonia, water and hydrogen was heated up to it evaporated. This simulated volcanoes. The mixture was then passed through an electric spark to simulate lightening. 1 week late amino acids were formed which are the building blocks for proteins.

Limitations of this experiment;
Wasn't always lightening
COULD have been more gases in the atmosphere at the time.

I think you have to learn it cause I was taught it in class and it's also in my revision book. I'm not 100% sure but better safe than sorry probably

If it makes you feel better I got an A* in all my mocks for science, and this year was tough.

How well did you think you do?

Well, I"m a definite failure.
Meh. Sort of.
I'm ******.
What about the rest? (Names not inserted).
An E certified.

Dont you worry about that
I got an A* in my biology mock exams with 100 ums and even i found the exam really hard so... You see it was actually hard
I used the unofficial mark scheme and got 38/9
