Biomedical Engineering

Hi I was just wondering what qualifications would be needed to become a Biomedical engineer? I currently study Biology, Maths, Chemistry at A-Level and I'm expected to get good grades (hopefully!!) what university courses would I need to take? I've looked on line but all I can seem to find is job applications and available jobs!! As many replies containing as much detail would be much appreciated!

Thanks a lot

To answer your questions:

Biomedical engineer courses:
http://www.imperial.ac.uk/study/ug/courses/bioengineering-department/biomedical-engineering/
http://www.kcl.ac.uk/prospectus/undergraduate/biomedical-engineering
http://www.gla.ac.uk/undergraduate/degrees/biomedicalengineering/
http://www.city.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/beng-biomedical-engineering/2016
http://www.mdx.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/biomedical-engineering

To sum it up, you can apply for any STEM degree, then do a relevant bioengineering masters and then further training onto becoming a bioengineer. Or you could apply to training programmes after completing a degree rather than a masters.
