URGENT C4 How to write the vectors out?

Hey Guys,

Im doing this question A and I was wondering how do I write out the vector. I literally ALWAYS write out the vectors in column form and never in i+j+k but in the mark scheme they have it in i+j+k.

When am I allowed to write in column and when do I write in i+j+k?

I have attached the MS and Question below.

You can write it in whichever form you like as they are equivalent, you will NOT be penalised.

But the mark scheme will have it in those 2 forms because when, for example, dealing with vector line equations its easier to work with column vectors.
