The person I like dumped somebody to be with me but she has a boyfriend now like after 1 hour of telling me she liked me - I replied as I felt the same way. Now she just wants to be friends and I don't think I could cope being friends

From what you said, it is most likely this girl just wants a boyfriend for the sake of having a boyfriend. Don't bother with her, she isn't worth it. Do not under any circumstances date her, even if she changes her mind (again) to be with you (again).
