Studying from Asia

Hi,

I am contemplating enrolling with the Open University to begin study for a degree. If I were to start in February, how possible is it for me to spend around 6 months, say from March until September, in south east Asia? Is it possible to study with them whilst travelling?

Hi Ben

I'd give the OU a call and speak to one of their (usually very helpful) advisers. It depends what course(s) you are doing - if you have access to the internet from SE Asia then you should be ok as long as the course you're doing uses the (relatively new) eTMA system (whereby you submit your assignments electronically).

Which degree/course(s) are you looking at doing?

Most courses above level 1 start in February with an October exam so you should be fine studying from abroad over the summer, check with the OU before you register though to be sure :smile:
