Studying in China

I wish I could re-do university as I would definitely go to Ningbo in China! Especially as the last week has shown the Asia/China is going to be what to watch in the next decade.

I found a flight from London to Ningbo for £330, (check google flights). The Ningbo accommodation is adjoining, right next to the campus for like £200 a month!

Check out this video on life at Nottingham in China..

I'm just making a point of going to China for an amazing university experience as it's not so popular now but I reckon our children in 30 years time, it'll be very normal to study in China.

Everyone's asking about Oxford when you could do something amazing like China!

Plus if you study economics, you could come back to London if you miss home, but really a placement year in China to understand the asian economy would be make you so employable.

Plus 19 years of living in europe you have seen so much but China has all this amazing culture and food and fascinating sights to see.. China in a funny way is a sleeping giant that needs to open up more to the world and that will only happen if the world opens up to China!

To the beautiful restaurants at night time..!

Going back to the accommodation.. here is the link on the Nottingham Ningbo website.

Do the math by googling 'RMB to Pounds'.

Building 18: 9,600RMB + 1,000 RMB = £1077! for the whole year! (so I understand).

Building 11: 12,000RMB + 1,000RMB = £1321

The white buildings are the school.. the pink buildings are the accomm

Have you gone mad or something?

I did the calculations right didn't I? It's crazy to me that it's under £1500 a year!

I am making my point to the OP about doing something amazing with your opportunity of university and for anyone else that want's to read about it.

I'm seriously considering Ningbo, China for postgraduate now, hence all the research!

I appreciate the effort from the moderator but this information was for an economics student to see the opportunity of studying in China.
I do think Ningbo is a good choice, but there are a lot of universities in China: http://school.cucas.edu.cn/
I think you can also choose to go to Zhejiang. Like Hangzhou, the best city for traveling in China.

Hi, shazhaoayng123,

What do you know about an international (UK) student studying at a China university?

How do I get the student loan, do you know anything of this?

Many UK or European students choose to study Chinese in China, and other students from Asian or Africa would prefer to study MBBS in China.

For UK students, Beijing language and culture university and shanghai international studies university are great choices, you will meet great teachers and students from your country there.

For loan or scholarship for UK student, you may find here: China university scholarship.

Hi!

I'm thinking about applying for University of Nottingham, Ningbo too. So, I'm wondering if you have decided to study there and whether you could share some of your experience. Any comment would be much appreciated! Thank you!
