You get a results slip from the exam board. In the summer, it depends whether or not your school/college cashes in AS grades. If they do, you'll get an overall grade and a total UMS mark out of 300 for each subject as well as UMS marks for each module. If they don't, you'll just get the UMS marks for each module, so you'll then have to add these up yourself to get the total out of 300 and use the chart on the back of the results slip to convert it to a grade.
