French and Spanish- BA vs IPML

Hi!

Today I got an offer for French and Spanish IPML from Manchester University. As for as I know, Manchester is the only UK university to offer the IPML (Integrated Professional Master of Languages). So my question is... is it better to do a BA or IPML? All of the other places that I've applied to are straight BA programmes.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Obviously it's better to have an IPML since you'll be educated to an extremely high standard, but as far as I know it is very intensive (like, crazy hard work...). If you're looking to be a translator it might be a good option, but a BA in modern languages will get you to a near-native level with good cultural knowledge anyway, so it's completely your choice.
