Mature medical student query

Hi, I am a physiotherapist with an MSc in Sports medicine and I have 3 children aged 8,6 and 4. I have had 4 years off work to look after the children and my youngest is due to start school in Sept. Ever since I graduated as a physio I have wanted to go back to study medicine but it never seemed the right time. I am now contemplating it again. I am wondering whether there is anyone out there who has done something similar and can give me any advice?
Thanks
Unis like mature applicants for Medicine - and most offer graduate entry degrees of 4 years rather than the normal 5. The average age of Medical students is always 'older' so you wont feel out of place.

Contact each Uni to see if your A levels/degrees are appropriate for entry to either the 4 or 5 year course.

Lots general of advice here about applying for Medicine : http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Medicine
And TSR Graduate Entry Medicine board here : http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2799491
