Personally, I think due to the complications many students ran into this year the grade boundaries will be as follows;

A* - 38
A - 34
B - 30
C - 26

Not only in my opinion do these sound sensible for this year's paper but they also look pretty accurate compared to previous year's results. I'm not sure though.

38 is probaby a bit too low -- maybe 42?

Really? Isn't that an organ on the head so it's controlled by the brain??

Going by the mark scheme I got about 45

Independent company would be unaffiliated with the drug company

Legal, recreational

Boys drink more beer, lager, cider than girls, girls drink more of everything else

It's too small a sample size

Fat - store of energy and warmth
Carbs/sugars - used for energy through respiration
Proteins - growth, repair of cells, replacement of old ones
Fibre - used to aid digestion

Skin is sense organ for spinal cord

80/50 = 1.6 for neurone speed

That's jumbled up - what did ya get for the horses one

The neurone speed would of been 50/80 so 0.06. X that by 100 you get 60%

i doubt a 45 would be an A* i though it was something like 41 above an A and 51 above an A*

Grade boundaries need to be very very low otherwise I'm just gonna go college

Yes that's right

Pretty sure that's wrong as you had to work out a percentage and times it by 100 so it would be 60%

I am afraid you would get no marks as you would have to 67% for 1 mark and for two it was 0.67
Original post by Ahmed74
I swear that's right?

i got 0.66% as well

its should be hand

Skin would be a better answer, byt hand is probably fine.
What was the question about alcoholic rats which some people are on about?
Can someone do like a whole paper with questions and answers please

That was the most hardest Biology exam I'd ever doneeee!!!!

Sameee it was impossible! I swear hardly anything actually in B1 came up...spent hours revising hormones/ immune system/ disease :frown: haha annoying

It looks as if the grade for an a* on all previous june B1 papers has never been above 50. Considering the majority of people seem to have struggled, it is more likely that the boundaries will be lower than 51 for an a*. Also, taking into consideration that last year it was 47 for an a*, it's more likely to be near to 45, as opposed to being raised by 4 marks in a test many found harder than the June 2015 one, even if AQA are stepping it up a notch.

It's probably more advisable to just wait for the actual grade boundaries to be released.

I have questions

ok so for the last question i wrote

31. invertebrates in water - water pollution (co2 and sulfur dioxide) (1)

32. Check difference between oxygen concentration in invertebrates and ocean (1)

and i wrote

20. It is a scatter graph because both sets of data are continuous (1)

so did i get 0 marks there?

0.67% I'm pretty sure

You forgot to use brackets, doing the division gets you 0.66667, multiply by 100 after you get 67%
